Occasional hook-up: leather fetish

 Au départ, je voulais juste dessiner un jeune gars bien gaulé, avec un côté ou peu dominant et pervers. Et je voulais aussi depuis longtemps dessiner un chaps en cuir. J'ai voulu voir ce que donnait les deux combinés... j'avais pas prévu d'y ajouter un arrière plan, mais j'ai commencé à ajouter une lumière bleue sur la peau du mec, et une chose en entrainant une autre, j'ai fait ce joli petit décor...

I first wanted to draw a very well hung, young and fresh guy, but with a perv dominant side. I also wanted to draw a leather chaps. I thought the both combined should be nice. It was not supposed to have a background, but finally, I began to add a blue light on the skin of the guy, and then, one thing ledding to another, I draw this nice background...

Adam Carville's adventure: snakes attack

It's been a while I haven't posted anything here...

This is a new illustration with Adam Carville, from my Adventure serie.
It doesn't depict a part of the main story, but an episode that I will probably never draw, but which is mentionned in the first chapter of my story: during an expedition in India, he will have to seek a ruby big as an egg, and save the son and the daughter of a maharaja.
In this adventure, he will meet one of his worst enemy, Johnston Hammet, an idle millionaire who spend his time seeking for treasures to steal, and who has a very few scruples. He is a straight guy, who seduced many women, as the daughter of the Maharaja, sat on the elephant's back. (But Adam Carville will finally tell him in the main story that she's not exactly a girl...)
So he will be a recurrent character of the main story, being a supplementary opponent to Adam Carville.

Rien de bien particulier à dire, juste deux dessins d'étude pour trouver une nouvelle tenue à Adam Carville, le héros de ma série Adventure (un jour, faudra vraiment que me décide à trouver un titre... des suggestions?)

Nothing special to say, juste two drawing to present Adam Carville's new clothes, in my Adventures story. (any suggestion of title would be welcome...)

Occasional hook-up

Il y a environ un an, fin aout 2010,  je mettais en place sur ce blog la rubrique Hunk of the week, avec pour but de poster un dessin de mec par semaine. Nous sommes maintenant en septembre, 56 semaines plus tard, et j'ai fait à peine 16  dessins pour cette rubrique. Je crois que j'ai un peu raté mon coup... la rubrique Hunk of the week deviendra donc maintenant "Occasional hook up"...

Almost one year ago, at the end of august 2010,  I set up my Hunk of the week section, which purpose was to post a drawing of guy each week. we're now in september, 54 weeks later, and I only posted 16 drawings. i think I kinda failed somehow...
so now, this section will become the "Occasional hook up"...

Themalicious fanzine : back to the first issue and preview of the 2nd

 Ca fait un petit moment que je n'avais rien posté, pour cause de vacances. Et depuis mon retour, je suis pas mal occupé par la recherche d'un emploi. Mais ça se présente bien, si tout va bien, je devrais avoir trouvé quelquechose d'ici la fin de la semaine.

Mais en attendant, je me suis remis au boulot.

Long time no see. I was in holidays, and since my return, I'm quite busy looking for a job.  but it should be done at the end of the week.

But in the meantime, I recovered in drawing.

Pour commencer, un dessin, par encore terminé, qui fait suite à une précédente illustration que j'avais faite pour un puzzle en vente à la Japan Expo, en juillet, pour le fanzine THEMALICIOUS
Je reprend donc le thème de la mafia et certains des personnages que j'ai créé pour la BD du premier numéro.
La composition finale réunira ces deux dessins sur une double page, en y ajoutant d'autres éléments.

Let's begin by a drawing, which is not finished, which follows upon a previous illustration I had made for a puzzle on sale at the Japan Expo, in July, for the fanzine THEMALICIOUS
I thus takes back the theme of the mafia and some of the characters I created for the comic of the first number.
The final composition will combine these two drawings on a double spread, by adding other elements.

Mais avant ça, pendant mes vacances, j'ai commencé à travailler sur le prochain numéro du fanzine, ayant pour thème la mythologie. Juste avant de boucler ma valise, je me suis rendu compte que j'avais plus de carnet de croquis, j'ai donc été contraint d'acheter le seul que j'ai trouvé à l'aéroport d'Athènes. 

But before that, during my holidays, I began to work on the next number of the fanzine, having for theme the mythology. Just before packing my suitcase, I realized that I had no more sketchbook, I was thus contrained to buy the only one whom I found at the airport of Athens.

et je lui attribue pour cette histoire un jeune assistant, recruté parmi ses élèves:
And I award him for this story a young assistant, recruited among his pupils:

ensemble, ils trouveront le labyrinthe du minotaure, dont ils feront la rencontre, et ils trouveront une aide dans la personne d'Icare.
Together, they'll find the minotaure's labyrinth, and after having meet this mythic creature, they will be helped by Icare.

Adventures - introduction scene

Les 6 premières pages de mon histoire "Adventures". Ces pages n'ont rien à voir avec la suite de l'histoire, elles sont juste là pour introduire mon personnage principal, Adam Deville, archéologue, aventurier, et professeur d'Histoire Ancienne à la Sorbonne.
Sur la dernière page, j'ai fait mon premier essai de création d'un environnement en 3D. Et c'est pas une réussite...

Adventures: Egyptian tomb -new versions

 

Une nouvelle page de ma série "adventures" (toujours pas trouvé de véritable titre), dans l'épisode se passant dans un tombeau en Egypte. Le contenu de cette page n'est pas intégralement nouveau, j'en avais déjà utilisé une bonne partie dans le dessin ci-dessous. Mais je n'étais pas satisfait du résultat, et donc j'ai voulu en réutiliser certaines parties, dans cette nouvelle page. 

A new page from my story " adventures " (still haven't found a real title), in the episode taking place in a grave in Egypt. The contents of this page are not entirely new, I had already used some parts in the drawing below. But I was not satisfied by the result, and thus I wanted to reuse certain parts, in this new page. 

Et comme je reprenais mes pages, j'en ai également profité pour retravailler la double page précédente, en ajoutant quelques détails et en retravaillant le trait. (1ère version en dessous)

And as I took back my pages, I also took advantage of it to work again the previous double page, by adding some details and by working again the line. (previous version below)

Hunk of the week 15 / All Star

New gay thematic fanzine: THEMALICIOUS first issue soon avalaible!

Je n'ai pas posté grand chose ces derniers mois, même pour ma rubrique Hunk of the Week, j'étais trop occupé à travailler sur un fanzine pour lequel j'ai réalisé une BD de 20 pages en N&B, plus quelques illustrations couleur. 

Ce fanzine est un fanzine thématique gay, à chaque numéro, plusieurs artistes avec des styles différents et des approches personnelles d'un sujet traiteront d'un thème commun au volume. Pour ce premier volume, nous avons choisi le thème de la Mafia, et les participants à ce numéro sont Yuki, Spirale, Gigan, Kalenx et Waghran, de Y!gallery.

Pour les numéros suivants, (s'il y en a!), ce sera vous, lecteurs, qui choisirez les thèmes en nous les proposant sur notre forum et en votant ensuite parmi les dix thèmes sélectionnés.

I didn't post many things these last months, even for my  Hunk of the Week section, I was too much busy by working on a fanzine for which I realized a 20 b&w pages comic, and some color illustrations.

This fanzine is a gay thematic fanzine, in each number, several artists with different styles and personal approaches of a subject will deal with a common theme. For this first volume, we chose the Mafia as a theme, and the participants in this number are Yuki, Spiral, Gigan, Kalenx and Waghran, all from Y!gallery.
For the following numbers, (if there are!), it will be you, readers, who will choose the themes by proposing them to us on our forum and by voting then among ten selected themes.

You choose, we draw!

Thus, do not hesitate to come to register you on our forum, and to leave messages! (it's a french forum but you can come and speak english, we'll speak in english too!  well, almost...)

In the meantime, we will sell our first volume at the Japan Expo in Paris, but also online on our forum!

Un aperçu de ma BD.

Hunk of the... pfff...What the F***!

Ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais rien posté sur mon blog et que je le laissais mourir à petit feu... j'ai vraiment été très occupé ces derniers mois, entre un exam à préparer et passer, des projets professionnels et personnels à terminer, et surtout, préparer le départ  de mon boulot, que je ne regretterai vraiment pas!

L'été se profile à l'horizon, avec plein de temps libre pour réaliser tous les dessins que j'ai en tête depuis des mois...
(n'oubliez pas de regarder les dessins en pleine écran, et vos commentaires sont toujours les bienvenus!)

It's been a while I haven't uploaded anything on my blog, for I've been kinda busy these last months, between and exam to prepare and pass, professional and personnal projects to finis... but now everything's fine: I graduate my exam, finish all the things i had to do, and hand in my resignation! So, at the end of june, I'll be totally free! So this summer, I will have all the time I want to draw all the things I have in mind for months...

Hunk of the week - school guy

 

J'ai commencé l'esquisse de ce dessin il y a plusieurs semaines,  en même temps que le précédent hunk of the week et d'autres à venir, mais je n'avais pas eu l'opportunité de le mettre en couleur avant ce jour...

Je suis bien plus satisfait de ce dessin que du précédent, peut-être que l'autre était finalement trop personnel et sérieux pour en faire quelquechose de sexy.

J'aime beaucoup les mecs qui portent des shorts très courts et qui laissent entr'apercevoir leur intimité. Je pense que les dessins à venir seront sur ce thème...

I began the sketch of this drawing several weeks ago, at the same time as the previous hunk of the week  and  others to come, but I had  no opportunity to color it before this day...

I'm much more happy with the way this drawing came out than the previous one did. Maybe the other one reminded me things that were too personal and serious.

I  so much like guys who wear very short pairs of shorts and who let slightly see parts of their anatomy. I think my next drawings to come will deal with this theme...

(oh, and I hope I didn't made a mistake in the sentence on the board!)
